RMIA BOARD OF DIRECTORS ANNOUNCEMENT
As we farewell our former President and Chair, Tony Dudley, we also welcome RMIA's newest President and Chair, Jane Whiter.
TONY'S LAST REMARKS
"At the AGM on Monday 13 May, as per our constitution, I stepped down as a director and the RMIA President. When I joined the board nine years ago, the RMIA faced a vastly different reality. Financial instability was the norm, and the path forward seemed uncertain. However, thanks to the vision and leadership of Anthony Ventura, who I want to personally thank for introducing me to the RMIA, we began to lay the groundwork for the remarkable transformation that you see today.
Upon taking the reins from Anthony two years ago, with my fellow directors' unwavering support and dedication, we successfully implemented a bold new strategy that is beginning to realise its benefits. We've achieved significant growth in membership and training initiatives through collaboration and hard work. I am confident that the RMIA will continue to build on these successes under the leadership of the new President.
The AGM also saw a number of new directors elected following a member vote. I’d like to welcome our new directors Kerri Stephens, Sharon Wilkes and Sherie Walczak, and our returning Director, Stacey Berkman. I would also like to acknowledge and thank outgoing directors Belinda Olejniczak and Mark Ryan's contributions to the RMIA over many years.
Finally, I am pleased to announce that Jane Whiter was confirmed by the RMIA Board as the new President and is the perfect choice to lead the RMIA into its next stage. I am confident that Jane and her new leadership team will continue to build on the solid foundation we've established together.
It has been a privilege and great honour to have been involved in an inspiring association, and although I leave with a tinge of sadness, I remain excited about what the future holds."

At the same time, I am thrilled to welcome our new RMIA President and Chair, Jane Whiter. I am confident that Jane's fresh input and unique perspective will be invaluable as we continue to grow and develop the RMIA as the leading Assocation for risk professionals. Her alignment with our core values and vision for the RMIA will be a driving force in our continued success.
