The CPRM® certification process is thoughtfully designed to accommodate professionals from diverse backgrounds, skill sets, and levels of experience within the risk management field. While having broad risk management experience can be an asset, it is not a prerequisite for achieving certification, ensuring accessibility for a wide range of candidates.
As part of the examination process for CPRM®, candidates need to be familiar with RMIA’s Risk Management Body of Knowledge (RMBoK). Upon applying for CPRM® members have access to the documents below, to study prior to the exam:

RMBoK Domain 2 – Establish the Context v2.5
RMBoK Domain 3 – Risk Assessment v2.4
RMBoK Domain 4 – Risk Treatment v2.4
RMBoK Domain 5 – Monitoring and Reviewing v2.6
RMBoK Domain 6 – Governance v2.0
Certification fees:
Cost of application processing, panel review and examination: $150
Annual renewal fee CPRM®: $330
Pre-requisites include:
Financial member of the RMIA
Abide by the RMIA Code of Ethics
Pass the CPRM examination
Adhere to annual CPD requirements of 20 points
